This Pro-X forged piston kit is for the Honda CRF-450R 2002-08, big bored 478cc. Features a new PRO-X forged piston kit, 12:1 CR. This piston kit fits a OE HONDA CRF450R 02-08 cylinder that has been big bored with a big bore sleeve or has been bored and re-plated to 99.00mm. To determine which piston size you require there is a very important first step. Always measure your cylinder bore size first.

This is only size that matters! 4-Stroke pistons are listed by size to FIT the cylinder bore size. 4-Stroke pistons are manufactured with a cam shape. They are never straight and round. Measure a 4-stroke piston at the bottom of the piston skirt, ninety degrees from the wrist pin hole.

This measurement only is used determine piston to bore clearance. Do not try to match a size from a used piston. This will always produce a faulty measurement. Used pistons wear out and change shape.
